Basil Hayden - Spec work

This is a pitch deck that I was working on during my internship for Pereira O’Dell. I wanted to show that I could come up with ideas on my own and present a full pitch deck from beginning to end. Showing the concept, insight, problem, solution while writing all the copy. I am almost done with the final deck. Will be up very soon, but until then I apologize for making you open this link that leads to basically nothing. But before you click back, I’d love to honestly thank you for even going through my whole portfolio. There were and still are times I doubt myself and talk myself out of finishing most things with the fear of being judged. But I decided to not let that mentality cripple me anymore, and I put belt to ass to accomplish my dream of being in the creative field. I’ve shown up an hour early to classes to stay an hour later to get home at 11pm in the winter during my D&AD Shift program. I applied to every internship that would allow someone who wasn’t a college graduate attend. When I was accepted I did all my work and then some, and after work I would put time on the calendar of people of different departments just to learn more of how everything works. I truly just want an opportunity, because I know once I have it.. I won’t let it go.
